About Company
Bharti Hexacom is a communications solutions provider offering consumer mobile services, fixed-line telephone, and broadband services to customers in India’s Rajasthan and the Northeast telecommunication circles. This includes the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. The company provides its services under the brand name ‘Airtel’.
As of 31 December 2023, the company had invested INR 206 billion in capital expenditure in its future-ready digital infrastructure. Additionally, it utilized 24,874 network towers, with 5,092 towers owned by the company and the remaining 19,782 towers leased from tower companies. As of the same date, Bharti Hexacom had 422 full-time employees.
As of 31 December 2023, Bharti Hexacom was present in 486 census towns and had an aggregate of 27.1 million customers across both circles. The customer market share has consistently grown in Rajasthan from 33.1% as of 31 March 2021 to 35.0% as of 31 December 2023, and in the North East from 43.6% to 49.8% during the same period. As of the same date, the company has established 51 retail outlets and 24 small-format stores to cover 90 cities. Additionally, its distribution network consisted of 616 distributors and 89,454 retail touchpoints.
The Objectives of the Issue
- To carry out the Offer for Sale of up to 75,000,000 Equity Shares by the Selling Shareholder; and
- Achieve the benefits of listing the Equity Shares on the Stock Exchanges.
